We’ve officially crossed the halfway mark of 2025—and what a whirlwind it’s been!
So far this year, we’ve had the pleasure of attending prizegiving ceremonies at both TUT and UP. We continue to be inspired by the exceptional quality of work produced by the students—our future colleagues in architecture.
Our calendar has been full and exciting:
• The Septua/Octogenarian Breakfast brought joy and reverence as always
• The IDEA Design Conference was another thought-provoking success
• We hosted several Architectural Breakfasts, where we began introducing you to our Preferential Partners
• And we continued to roll out our popular Detail Hours, offered free to all members
We’ve also wrapped up the 2025 Awards Adjudication—now all that remains are the citations and the awards event itself. You’ll find more on these highlights in the newsletter below.

Membership Fees
July marks the start of our new financial year. Invoices for the 2025–2026 cycle have been sent out. If you haven’t received yours yet, please contact Ishara at finance@pia.org.za or call 012 346 1051.
Fees are due before the end of August 2025.
Payment options include:
• Once-off EFT
• Scheduled payments (3–10 months max, arranged with your bank)
• Once-off credit card payment (your bank’s terms apply)
New This Year: You will receive both a membership certificate and a digital membership card. The digital card is essential to access our Preferential Partner benefits (see more in the newsletter).

PIA Website Login
Our login process has been updated for your security.
When logging in, you’ll now receive an OTP via email to verify access.
🔐 Important:
• You must be logged in to access free member events—otherwise, you’ll receive an invoice.
• Keep your login details easily accessible.
Event Bookings
When selecting EFT as your payment method for any event, please email your proof of payment to cpd@pia.org.za.
Also, as per SACAP requirements, we must submit your event evaluation forms. These also help us improve the quality of our offerings—please complete and return them.
