OHSA Construction Regulations

 

In this workshop we will look at how to approach the
health and safety procedures prescribed by the construction
health and safety regulations and the duties of each parties in relation thereto.

This Workshop consists of 3 Sessions on the same day:

Session 1            08:00 – 10:00

Session 2            10:20 – 12:30

Session 3            13:00 -15:00

Session 4            15:10 – 17:00

COURSE OUTLINE
Built environment professionals in their capacity as employer(s) and employee(s) have an obligation to ensure that their practices comply with the standards and procedures set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Architects and Engineers in their capacity as designers and have a further responsibility in terms of the Construction Health and Safety Regulations 2014 to consider not only the health and safety specifications of the design but also share in the duty to ensure the health and safety of all parties on the building site. In this workshop, we will look at how to approach the health and safety procedures prescribed by the construction health and safety regulations 2014 and the duties of the Client and the Designer.
