We would like to invite our regular President’s Table Members to participate in a special President’s Table Breakfast on

Friday, 11 September 2026, from 08:00–10:00.
This time, we would like to do things a little differently.

The idea behind the breakfast:
We would really like to recognise and value the wealth of experience within our membership, while creating meaningful opportunities for our younger members to connect with and learn from those who have walked the path before them.
This is intended to be an informal opportunity to share experiences, stories, advice, challenges and insights – and hopefully to build relationships that continue beyond the breakfast.

We would like each of our experienced members to join a young professional, candidate architect or student for breakfast.
We are happy to assist in identifying a suitable and available young person to join you.

OPTION 1
Venue & arrangements
We have identified The Blue Crane as a possible centrally located venue and can coordinate the arrangements and bookings.
The arrangement will be:
1 Architect books and pays for 2 people – themselves and their young professional/candidate/student.
PIA Makes the Breakfast Arrangement
Mauneen will take your Photos and have the necessary feedback forms available.

OPTION 2
Alternatively, you are welcome to choose a venue of your choice and make your own breakfast arrangements with your guest.
There is no payment required to the PIA in this instance.
For CPD purposes, we will require participating members to provide:
A photograph of the breakfast
Brief feedback on the experience
This will enable us to issue the relevant CPD Certificate.

We hope that our experienced members will embrace this opportunity to share their knowledge, experiences and encouragement – and of course a breakfast with the next generation of architects and architectural professionals.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
1. If you have someone young in your office, please forward us their details to management@pia.org.za to allocate them to someone else for this experience.
2. Please confirm your availability and/or your student/candidate/young professional’s details by 25 August 2026.
3. Please confirm if you will arrange you will take up Option 1 or Option 2 to enable me to make the necessary arrangements with Blue Crane
