About the job:
Building Science and
Technology (BST) – competence area of the Built Environment operating unit has
a challenging temporary vacancy for a Draughtsperson. BST conducts research and
development aimed at improving the operational effectiveness pertaining to
building science and technology.
This is a specific
contract vacancy of two years related to
the Infrastructure Unit Support Systems (IUSS) project and is based in
Pretoria.
Minimum
qualification:
• Must
have National Diploma directly related to draughting (Draughting / Architecture
or equivalent).
• Must
be a registered architectural technologist or draughting technologist.

Environment (BE) has a challenging position for a Researcher in the Building
Science and Technology competence area. The Infrastructure unit at the national
Department of Health (NDoH), in collaboration with the CSIR, has convened a
team to draft new national norms and standards for health care facilities for
South Africa.
Minimum
qualification:
• A
Bachelor of Architecture or a Bachelor of engineering degree although a
Master’s degree would be preferred.
• Must
be a registered qualified built environment professional.
